Earth Rom battle
Here is Meshula's Cabbage up against a few UESN Minotaurs. As you would expect, the Cabbage is on the dirty end of the stick.

Masao's specifications detail pulse-laser cannon (4) and corsair missiles (16).

I love those textures!
Great scene. My only problem is with the laser beams and how they end. Something about the hit on the Cabbage just doesn't look right.

I'm trying to figure a better way on the laser and hit part. I wasn't very happy with it either.

Someone is using the wrong Federation one *L*
I do believe we adapted a "merged together" one? (at least, I have been using it)

Forgot all about that! The one I have been using on Earth-Rom stuff was from the original work I had done. This goes way back before the collective us and when I first came across Masao's and Bernd's sites.
Easy to fix.

Hey! Cool markings on those ships!!
For the scene, it might not be necessary to show that third ship firing on the Cabbage. Instead, if you have the Cabbage blowing up in the background with the two foreground Minotaurs leaving, it should be obvious what's happened. I think as it is there's a bit too much dead space in this scene. So, I suggest you make the Cabbage bigger in the background, omit the smallest minotaur, and put the focus on the two ships in the foreground.

Thomas, here's a page of aviation art showing the type of scene I was thinking of. http://www.american-art-prints.com/us_airforce.htm
The print "Midway - The Setting Sun" shows some US carrier planes leaving a buring IJN carrier. It's obvious what has happened without showing any shooting.
