Re: Lightwave FREE Trial
Holy hell, that's a huge download. I wonder why the Mac version is only 35 MB but the Windows version is 216 MB.

Re: Lightwave FREE Trial
Yeah, I've seen differences in sizes between Mac and Windows files before but it's usually not a 181 MB difference. I mean, it's the same demo, right?

Re: Lightwave FREE Trial
Probably a major difference in what comes with it.

Re: Lightwave FREE Trial
Yeah, they tend to not want people to download files because there are people out there who would abuse that and download viruses and whatnot onto the computers. (bastards) It just ruins it for everyone else.
I don't even know if there's an internet cafe in my area anyway. Besides, if I tried the trial version of LW 9 I would probably really love it and want the not time limited version. Then I'd probably wind up crying in the corner because I can't afford it.

Re: Lightwave FREE Trial
Awesome link I need to try it out. I still have not rendered anything in some time. I am so far behind in using lightwave, still on 5.6 that I have forgotten so much. None the less thanks for the link warrior.

Gotcha beat! My Lightwave is the Amiga Video Toaster version, on an Amiga 2500. :P
But I think I'll download this one and play with it. I recently talked to NewTek, and they told me that I can still upgrade my original version!
How cool is that?
Ken
