3 BIRDS
I have not made any decent renders of my Star fighters .. but I rendered this for fun. I still have to arrange a pilot for the cockpit

Re: 3 BIRDS
Yeah, a pilot would be good. As for the setup, the fighters kinda look like they're drifting to me. You should do an action shot, IMO. Having said all that, the lighting and (of course) modeling are great.

Re: 3 BIRDS
Yeah, some days (very few, though) composing a scene is very easy. Other times it's like pulling teeth, IMO.

Yeah, it's that funk you slip into after you finish one. I know, I was there until about 2 days ago myself.

Re: 3 BIRDS
I really like those meshes of yours Taranis. I'm looking forward to seeing those renders.
I know what you guys mean when it comes to creating scenes, lighting them and rendering them. Sometimes when i'm sitting at my desk at the office working on something a string of ideas will hit me out of the blue, and other times i'll sit at home trying to come up with ideas, and nada. Something to do with the Creative Gland I reckon.

Thanks UA
It like writers block, But I always find it difficult swapping hats from modelling to the artistic side of the craft.
when I first started I was rendering all the time.. I really should put them in the art gallery

I'll try to get you something by the end of today.
I could use a break from the nebula shots anyway.
I did four more last night that look nice and thick.
Nothing like making something as vast as space feel claustrophobic!
I'm going to hunt down some pics of Gil Gerard so I can do a facial morph that looks like him. I'll be a bit out of my element but then again I'm sure I could use the practice.

Re: 3 BIRDS
I can probably use that. I have a program called 'Face Shop Pro' where I import an image and then it has 'points (like eyes, nose, chin, etc...) and when I set the points to the image the software automatically creates the morph points on the mesh and it can shape the head to whomever I need. I have an awesome Kate Beckensale...but that's a whole different story. LOL!
Email that to me and I'll get right on it.
The fist couple I send your way will be posed to fit in your Starfighter.
The later ones will have (if I can do it) a basic character rig in LWO so you can get a few more pose/shots from it.
If anybody around here is a champion LWO rigger now would be a good time to shout about it. LOL!
