Merry Yule to everyone!
Yule is actually the winter solstice. I'm not sure how many of the
christians here realise it, but today, is the day with the longest
night and the shortest day. Mwuahahaha.
It's also my 18th birthday! Go me! (I'm gonna watch all those nice
DVDs I got later... *giggle*)
Oh and also, although either a bit premature or a bit late, I'd like
to wish all a happy:
- Christmas
- Kwanza
- Winter solstice
- Hannukah
Wheee!
For two days, we've had a hurricane raging here, but today, except
for two little clouds that look like white fluffy bits of cotton,
it's sunny, and there's even some snow. Wow.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Yippy happy joy joy!

shazbot, I didn't realise today was Solstice. I thought it was tomorrow, the 23rd?
I can't believe you're 18...I knew you when you still, what 14? I've soooo wasted my life at this computer.
Happy Birthday!

Chris, I was 15 when we got together. I was 14 when I first visited sci fi art
BTW about the winter solstice, well, imagine you throw a ball up, it hangs in the air at some point right? The earth has a time like that too, from the 21st to the 23rd
We celebrate it on the night of 22nd 23rd usually

Well I'd just quit playing the piano when we got a computer for the first time. That was in february or so after I turned 14. And a couple of months, in the summer holidays in fact, we got the cable connection, and i found sfa.

I wouldn't call that a hurricane :p It was just a storm
I don't think my house would be still standing if it were a hurricane.

Well there's quite some branches that broke off here. And even a wire between streetlights. And in the forest, 2 trees fell over.

I'd love to see some snow - but right now, it's 58 degrees outside, so I doubt my Christmas is gonna be white.

Well over here the snow is gone already.
I woke up this afternoon and went like "Hmm I know i've slept for way too long, but now I really did it: I slept right into the ice age!"
