Bajoran Space Station

I decided what the hell I'll make a Bajoran Space Station designed to replace DS9 in 10 to 20 years because I figure they would like to get rid of one of the last remaining reminders of the Cardasian occupation.

This one is to show scale. The design is based on the Bajoran Symbol.

UPDATE...
I am thinking about increasing the size a bit so a Defiant sized ship could fit inside comfortably I also thought it might be cool if it could fit an Intrepid class ship inside. I don't want the thing to be too big though since this will be one of Bajors first major projects after the dominion war.
Not too much work done but I'm beginning to flesh out the Ops section.

After looking a bit more at the communicator pin, it's a couple of steps so I'm thinking about something like this.

I'm also thinking that since DS9 had runabouts this station might have a few of these. I'll have to build my own versions since this is too low poly and most of the detail is in the textures.

This station might be called a Sisko class station or it could be Opaka or Taluno or Bareil

I don't know if I'd use any of those designations. I just don't think that the Bajorans would name anything after a religious icon except for a church or other holy place or item. Unfortunately, having sold off my DS9 box sets, I can't recall any of the names of Bajoran military or scientific leaders...

I like the idea of making it big enough to house an Intrepid class ship. It would allow them to effect repairs in a protected environment for their fledgling space fleet.

UPDATE...
Not a whole hell of a lot a of done, just playing with a few ideas. The size has increased enought to fit an Intrepid class ship.

Damn. Here I was all excited about another XFozz Bajoran model and then I saw the date on the first post.

Is this one you lost when your HD crapped out? And do you have any plans to redo/restart (whatever you wanna call it) this project? 'Cause I'm thinking it would go great with that interceptor you're working on.

Evil's right. I did loose this one when my HD decided not to play nice. I still have all the pics of it and I will start it up again but I gotta get at least one ship done first.

I may have been wrong. Right now I can't find any of the images. i might have them on a DVD. So I might be able to get some screen grabs of them. Or they could be on a back up disc.
