Default Ongoing Projects, BSG & Space 1999

Working on two ships at the moment, with the intention of Poserizing
both of them. The Viper Mk1 is well underway and almost finished. Just
need the detail the cockpit and Gear bays in Modo, then texturing and
transfering those parts to Poser 7. The other is NUCH bigger than the
Viper, so I've selved it until I finish the Viper.

The Meta exterior is complete, and texturing is almost finished, with the
interior just getting started, when I put her on the virtual shelf. Shouldn't
take long to get her going again once the Viper is done. The Viper pic is
from Poser 7, after I had (FINALLY) completed the engines. I really HATE
Poser shaders. Ah well, looks good now. The other pics are Meta textured
sections, untextured DAZ Studio test of the Mesh, and the basic CM
interior.

Right on!
I was away from modeling for awhile. Just too busy at work, and learning more Modo
whenever I had spare time. BTW, does anyone know of tutorials on building and
detailing the BIG ships, like battlestars or star destroyers? I'd like to try a terran
battlestar when these are done, but have no idea on how to start such a large
ship. I look at Tan J's battlestars and wonder just how he did it!

Modo and Lightwave are similiar enough to follow each others tutorials.
The tut I used to begin my Viper was a Lightwave video tutorial from Kurv Studios.
I might get their Cylon raider tutorial as it looks good too. Hope they do a battlestar
one eventually.
