Starfighter conversion for MAX 7 Released
Do you remember Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, from late 70's ? 
Denes House built the Starfighter's Blender version and Jay Seals ported it to 3DS and Max 8, so, BIG thanks to those guys !
I correted some mesh errors and smoothing problems. After that, the mesh was retextured. 
The Max 7 version is available here: http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/s...7&postcount=75.
Don't forget to say thanks to Denes (Crimsonline) I would like to see some renderings too.
Admins: Fell free to upload the mesh at 3DG.

How about a 3DS version so I can convert it to LW?

I downloaded it from that attachment link, and changed the file name to ARJ just like you say to. However, when trying to open it, I get errors.
In addition, 1.06MB seems awfully small for a Max zip. Is that how big it's suppose to be?

To make a short story long, I had an error opening the ARJ file. In addition, instead of making a 3DS copy, he made a LW copy for me. Both the Max and LW versions will be available here at 3DG shortly
On the other hand, to make that long story short, he sent me a LW copy of it

Just a correction: the mesh was built by Denes House.
I converted it to max and Warrior to Lightwave.

Working out some nice Earth based scenes .. for Buck Rogers .. coming soon ....
I also have tried out a new Plug in to generate stars in lightwave .. cool stuff .. and free .. works a dream ...
