Default Morph Targets on MAX 4.3

I have used the Morpher modifier on a character and loaded all of its expressions. The morph targets are green. But when I mess with he sliders, the head moves to its left without changing expressions. The weird thing is that the targets are actually in the same location as the original head. I have never used MAX's morph targets, generally I just use Maya's blend shapes, so please help. Again, the expression on the head is not changing. Thanks in advance.

The expression is changing, now, but I can't get the head to stop moving.
