Bravo! Fantastic work! You havea good sense of motion, the animation has fluid pacing and keeps your attention. Which software did you use for this? The rendering is especially good with the particle effects. Tell us more..

My first post in several weeks is me congratulating you on an EXCELLENT piece of work. I absolutely love the camera work in it - the fast zooms, the "handheld" feel of it all. Incredible.
I just watched the box-set of Firefly this week, in preparation for seeing the movie tomorrow, and they used the same kind of camera work. It's very effective, and has the added benefit of making the models seem much more real to the viewer.
I'll come to you when I get a few million bucks to do my pet project sci-fi movie. XFozzboute and Scaramanga can design and build the CG models, and you can do the animating...

Didn't Zoic Studios do FX for Firefly as well as the new Galactica? They seem to be the masters of doing space battles handheld documentary-style.
Incredible job on the animation! You did a great job giving the feel of being along for the ride in one of the fighters.
How did you do the laser effects? Unlike the missles, they looked like they could have been done in a separate software package. That's probably my only critique (and a minor one at that) of your movie. The energy weapons effects looked a little flat.

The battle animation was excellent. The Camera motion felt like a recording of a home movie but if that's what you were going for, good job. lol

I liked this a lot. I think the jerky camera animation both added to and detracted from what is an excellent piece of work. I am ambivalent about the jerky movement. It was unexpected, and it definitely gave it a more realistic feel, but it was also distracting. Maybe tone that down a bit and it will be (to quote Goldilocks) "just right"!!
As far as everything else, WOW. The ship movement is very convincing, the choreography is fantastic... good job!

Man, this animation is excellent. The music fit in well, the lighting, sound effects and motion was top notch. It looked so real.
Like others, I'd love to know more of the production background. Wht software did you use?

As others have noted, you used Zoic's FIREFLY/GALACTICA hand-held camera look. Very nice. Excellent choreography. Lots going on, yet it flows nicely. Leads the eye.

Wow, could watch that for sometime, played the short episode over and over, guess it would of taken a long time to render this. What software did u use for this? Was anyone harmed in the making of this ? lol.
