Welcome aboard. I hope you enjoy your stay also. Do you do any modeling/art or do you just like to discuss it and various other topics?

Cool. It's great to have you here. Hopefully we can be helpful and maybe you can even teach some of us some tricks.

Hi,
I'm new here as well. Seems like a nice commuinity in here. I have worked with Bryce, Poser and Cinema4d in the past 6 years and created a few trek textures here and there.

I see you registered at Cononial Fleets, I thought there was one there. It's on the last page of the Colonial Military models, I think.

Yeah, I was wrong anyway. The new Galactica over there is in LW 5.6 format. I checked another site and didn't find one. I know a lot of people have attempted it and some have even finished, but I guess they haven't released it.

Cool. Yeah, I don't use Max, but a lot of people do. Warrior, the guy that owns this place and CF, works in LW, so he converts a lot of models to that format and puts them on his sites for LW 5.6 and LW 7. I guess it's up to the individual modelers to upload them in Max format.

greetings programs
Hi everyone,
another noob to the fourms here. Seems that for the most part this place is very quiet. well not quite a noob here i have been lurking for quite awhile and finally decided to post and make myself a home here ho[pe you all dont mind.
just a little about me, I am a low poly modeler mostly for games like SFC3, mainly self taught. i have been modeling for about 4 years now i am decent at it altho texturing is totally beyond me how you guys do it i dont know i cant seem to get my mind to think in 2D only 3D LOL (the shapes call to me and tell me what they want to become ) i will have to dig up some examples of my work to show you all.
