Love the Alien score. I think it's my second favourite Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack with STMP narrowly beating it.

With the passing of the Great John Barry The composer of many of the Early James Bond films (which I also consider the best of them) I going to post some of the music scores

RIP John.
John Barry conducts his music for Goldfinger and The James Bond Theme. 2001.

Yes I agree, I read or saw that when Louis Armstrong recorded the song he was not very well so they did it in one or two takes only.

High Road to China ost I have had on CD for years..

here is another great Score that I like a lot and I love the film

Ron Grainer's Score. THE OMEGA MAN
Starring Charlton Heston
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k1GJlWFdHY

it was a soundtrack that I looked for, for many years but it was out of
circulation. I finally found a copy just, just when I had given up on it.

Brought a tear to my eye. Seriously, man. Thanks. This movie is THE sh*t!

Never Ending Story is totally awesome too (the first one... all others went down hill).

Two cookies to anyone who can tell me what other famous movie the actor playing Atrayu was in.

Glad you like it Warrior

I always liked the Last Starfighter music and what kid of any age would not want to go on that kind of adventure.

come to that the same with Never Ending Story the first one that is.

Remember folks that you can share your music delights with us and comment and chat away here about this subject to your hearts content. and it does not have to be film/movie music. there is only 2 rules, nothing adult themed and post the name of the composer or band too.

When modelling, I usually listen to Jerry Goldsmith score for Star Trek First Contact, it's a great source of inspiration.

Here's some good free music for people who like techno/electro type music: http://www.thinkwithportals.com/music.php

I have the Portal games and I really like that type of music, so I enjoy listening to it when I'm working on 3D stuff. The .zip files are 156.6MB and 128.8MB because the files are really high quality.

This is the guy who did the Portal 2 music: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0991316/

It doesn't look like he's done a lot music-wise, aside from some video shorts and some other Valve games. However, as you can see, he did visual effects work first.

I'm doing a blackhole animation with the Cygnus and Palamino. I was going to record a version on my synth, but it's basically impossible to find the sheet music. I need to get "The Black Hole" soundtrack. I decided I will use the original music once I get it.
