Default Paint shop pro

usually when you right click an image file

you can select "open with"

now if I do that for paint shop pro

it will open paint shop pro

but not the image.

why?

What version PSP?

I have 5 and 7 loaded. In 'Open With' I can choose 5.0 and it opens the image but if I choose 'Choose Program' and select 7 it does the same as you described. I have 5 and 7 listed in my 'Send To' folder and images will open correctly each time. The JASC site does not have any known issues for 7.0 as described but I have never really cared that 7.0 has that issue (as I just added it in the SEND TO).

No help here but have seen this and what few things I did to 'fix' it did not. Just made a work around.

Yeah, pain in the ....

The 'SEND TO' folder is in the DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS folder. (In NT and WIN2000 anyway.) You can create new shortcuts to programs and is helpful when you don't want to create file associations. The option is in XP also but I only recently put that on a machine and have not figured out where the folder is.
