Hi Peter,
There are lots of models out there.
You may try getting some of this board, or others.
Anyway, you can try to translate models from Lightwave or 3D Studio to Poser 6 also. It doesn't work right always. But most of them do work out very nicely.
Succes,
Gert

Interiors are hard to find. I am looking for some myself as well as cockpits. I would like SOme Gunstars with cockpits and a good MF cockpit model.

There are all kinds if you look around. Interiors can be found in several formats at many different sites. You just have to convert them to a format poser knows such ad .3ds or .obj. You may also have to retexture them, but after all is said and done, it's worth the time.

I'm taking that this probably isn't where you should request but "meh..."
Where would I find 3d models for the strange "non-canon" ships of Star Trek like the S.S. Enterprise (ringship), the ships from Starfleet Museum, the ships from the Spaceflight Chronology? I've tried to look many times and I've come up blank or with websites advertising drugs .
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Museum ships- Are you referring to the bunch of meshes a few of us did from the Star Trek Museum web site, ala the pre-TOS ones?
Ring ship- Coming soon.

POSER Star Trek Character models are posted for download on TREKKGirl's web site. There are several Nice ST bridges free for download. Try Sci FI 3D website. http://scifi3d.theforce.net/

At least it will be once Aceman gets the meshes section back up and people upload.
He's working on it right now.

I'm building a collection of Trek TOS era props for my UniVerse project. One thing I've done is go to the Starfleet Museum and contact the guys who built 3d meshes. I was able to get Avenger & Predator class that way.
There's quite a bit out there and a lot more I'd love to find. Especially movie era bridges and Klingon bridges!
http://scifi3d.theforce.net/ is great for some ships but I'm not seeing any interiors.
http://trekmeshes.ch/ has a few interiors in their non-ship section including a TOS bridge.
Email me I'm willing to trade freebies.

trekmeshes has the same TOS bridge that can be found in the downloads here. It's SeanR's bridge and, as far as I'm concerned, the standard. He, of course, used trueSpace.

Watch The Motion Picture. Ilia and Decker are in the rec room. On the wall are old ships named Enterprise. Decker points them out to Ilia. The ring ship is one of them.
