Making Lasers for ships - Help Please
I was wondering why there arent any tutorials for downloading?
I am trying to master the lasers that come out of the ships and with several attempts, its a slow process.
I am using Lightwave 8.0 and have been using the particles etc to make my laser.
If anyone has any tutorials on this, please would you let me know.
Thank you.

Anybody know of some trueSpace compatible tutorials? in other words, something very general and generic that would work across most software packages? I have tried some myself but they look more like plasma bolts than lasers... [will post image link later]

Taranis, lemme know if you have those saved. If so, I'll add them into the new upcoming tutorial section.

There's nothing wrong with that, I use tS 4.2. BTW, I heard 7 has a lot of issues, one of which being that it requires a computer with 3 or 4 gigs of RAM to run smoothly. And, it apparently isn't as nice as earlier versions. One of these days I'm going to scrape some change together and get a new computer and tS 6.6, but I'm not touching 7.

Taranis, I tried to download those PDF files but all of them seems to be corrupted after download and I try to open them. Did anybody else have any problems with them? I REALLY would like to see those, aren't they on a webpade somewhere? Btw. Also had a look at your webpage and the images looks great The images are for stills, haven't dabbled in animations yet [waiting to get 6.6 first]
evil_genius_180, thanks for the heads up, haven't read much about seven although I did hear that 6.6 is good so that's what'll i'll be aiming at too, cheaper as well...
