Question about a piece of gear

Heyas. I am pondering (No, not what pinky is pondering, so put down the leather pants) getting an input tablet for use with Photoshop and my CGI programs. But, I don't know if it would be worth the expense. Do any of you out there use one? How easy to use/useful is it? Please lemme know, thanks

I haven't had a chance to use one myself, but have often thought of getting one. The reason I haven't yet, is the features I want make the ones that I want prohibitively expensive for my meager income. From many I have spoken too, and what I have watched firsthand, they do make many tasks significantly easier, if you have a good tablet. You know, high DPI, pressure sensitive, and whatnot.
