lighting does make a HUGE difference, even a basic one like this that is just a bunch of infinite lights put together...
i'd like to spend some more time on it and add more detail, perhaps from a different perspective. didn't have a lot of time to complete and submit this shot...

trueSpace has its limitations and bugs, but I fell in love with the interface which is now so easy for me to use that i find it difficult to learn other ones... i can whip up a scene in very little time... just lack the time to really flesh out a scene like this and make it look more realistic... like the image below done by Andrew Moffit in trueSpace...

I am the same due to my time with lightwave .. learning a new prog is a pain. poser was a pain until I got help from some members here
