Enterprise - C Bridge Ref.
Looking for reference pics/schematics of the Enterprise-C and / or the later Ambassador bridges. I know there must be a schematic somewhere, and I know someone MUST have some screencaps from "Yesterday's Enterprise" Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

PERFECT! Can you ry to include those two inset pictures on either side?
Is that from "Star Trek: The Magazine", "Fact Files", or something totally different? If "Fact Files" or some other publication, why does it look exactly like "Star Trek: The Magazine" and where can I get it?
Thanks!

It IS from The Magazine. It might have been in FF, but I don't know, as I can't get FF here in America.

I've got nearly every issue they've printed of ST:The Mag here at home, and that isn't in any of them. The only ones I don't have are ones that didn't have usable set diagrams in them, nad I _know_ I would have picked that one up in a heartbeat!

BTW, you know, call me a blasphemous heathen, but I just can't buy that set as the main bridge of a starship as big as the Enterprise C. It wouldn't even make sense as an Excelsior class bridge! Am I the only one who thinks maybe they screwed up and this was really the battle bridge? Makes sense when you think about it, the main bridge should be more of a cross between the Enterprise D bridge and the Excelsior - something with the movie era style, but a little of the spaciousness of TNG. Maybe I'll try to draw something up later.

I agree wholeheartedly that this bridge just doesn't fit a ship the size of the E-C. But I would disagree that it would be a cross with the E-D; the Galaxy were supposed to be a complete redesign of Starfleet interior design. I'd say it would look similar to an Excelsior in that it would be a circular layout (they didn't get into these triangle layouts until TNG), but I would think there wouldn't be that much difference from the E-B and E-C bridges.

Heh, looks like I've started something here I just wanted a few references to do some modelling after, but any discussion is a good one. What I wouldn't give to have all the episodes from all the series on tape. Is that even possible? I mean, i'm sure someone has them, but are they available commercially? Or maybe I could just pick them up from that certain "someone"? I mean, I've barely seen any of the last 2 years of voyager, i'm working mostly off of memory here!

Heathen! Heathen!
I was never much for the E-C bridge. Only three seats, and the other consoles are about as spartan as they can be. I'm a strong proponent that the set we saw in that episode is indeed the battle bridge... No dialogue clearly identifies the set as the main bridge. For all we know, that's where the rest of the command crew was when it was blasted away.
I've got this issue of the Magazine; I'll try to scan in the insets (and other bridge pics) later this week.

I do indeed not have that one. That issue came out while I was out of a job last summer, so that would probably explain why I don't have it. I may justy have to back-order it.

The Enterprise-C bridge was later redressed as the Enterprise-D battle bridge in "The Best of Both Worlds Part II."
It was also seen as the bridge of the Hathaway in "Peak Performance," and several other bridge sets.
They say this is a redress of the movie bridge set used from Star Treks I-IV, though I don't buy that. It looks NOTHING like that at all.
