Cool to see them in a scene together, but I don't know about the positioning. My inner pervert had a few comments that are best not shared here...
Actually, the bots are okay - I think it's just a matter of our viewing angle. If we could see this from the side, I think it would work much better. Of course, if we could see one of them shooting at the other, that would just be friggin' awesome.

Yeah, but we have tact here at 3DG.
BTW, is the structure they're fighting on supposed to be anything specific, or just something you threw together for this scene?

Actually, if the red dude was moved to teh right a bit, with it shown his left arm wrapping around the other dude, it'd look like he was tackling him (which I think was intended- the tackling?)

DUDE! *lol*
Somehow I find your lack of knowledge of Transformers: The Movie" somewhat disturbing. I mean not entirely, I guess surprising is more the word I'm looking for. I thought everyone is this business had seen it.
Anyway, this is a direct scene recreation, and he's damn near nailed it. Pretty fantastic. I think the only way you could completely knock it out of the park is if you added motion blur, and a bit of glow around Prime's wound. (Though I can't remember if you could see it from that angle or not...)
Still, fantastic dude. Really good.

In the UK Transformers the movie can be bought on DVD from any HMV or Virgin Megastore. <smugness>I have an original VHS (PAL, not NTSC) copy from the 1980's </smugness>
If you cant find it in the shops, try amazon or ebay.
he did make prime transform but im not so sure about megatron
He also made a nice little animation
